Elevating rural India – a multi-dimensional approach to advancement

As pioneers in rural development, our mission is to harness the inherent wisdom of rural India to catalyze women-led community participation. Since our founding in 1985, we have significantly impacted rural communities across the country by building a self-enabling fabric of rural prosperity within the framework of local self-governance.

Our all-inclusive approach to rural enrichment began with a focus on primary healthcare, maternal and child health, and child development, which led to comprehensive, multi-faceted community-driven programs. Through our extensive training sessions, we empower individuals to address the unique needs of their communities and improve countless lives in the process.

With an unwavering commitment to universal brotherhood and selfless service, we are enabling rural communities to thrive for generations to come.

Unfolding inner potential with the ageless wisdom of the Rishis

Vedantantic-knowledge

CORD substratum is a rich and deep spiritual thread derived from the wisdom of Vedantantic knowledge and taught to millions by Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, the founder of Chinmaya Mission, and the tradition of teaching continues by his disciples. This spiritual self unfoldment which is the untapped potential of individuals and communities is successfully served with love and dedication.

By promoting both spiritual and practical forms of service, we are making a positive impact on the lives of millions of people and helping create a more compassionate and connected world.

Enabling rural prosperity the rural way

Our mission is not just to help, it is to help others help themselves

We are focused on supporting individuals and communities to become self-sufficient, rather than simply providing help. Our goal is to promote long-term sustainability and independence.

Our vision is to harness rural India’s wisdom to elevate rural welfare

By leveraging the knowledge and expertise of rural India, we have been able to give back self-enabled growth and upliftment options to village communities using our unique working models that contextually align with their needs.

Collaboration, enablement, and social justice

Our commitment to a better world

At our core lies a deeply-held belief in the power of human potential. We believe that every individual, regardless of their background and circumstances, can positively impact their community and the world around them.

Our philosophy is based on a bottom-up approach, which means that we prioritize working with grassroots communities to effect change. We recognize the critical role that women play in promoting positive social impact. Hence, women-led Mahila Mandals are a central part of our approach, and by collaborating with them, we are able to bring meaningful change to their environment, families, and communities.

We aim to create a world in which every individual has the opportunity to add to their capabilities and contribute to a more equitable and just society. This is only possible through collaboration, self-enablement, and a deep commitment to social and economic justice.

Transforming communities with collaborative programs

The true impact of our programs can be seen in the transformation of communities themselves. As our communities become more resilient and self-reliant, they are better equipped to overcome their challenges. By fostering a culture of ownership and participation, our programs create a foundation for sustainable development that is built to last.
